I think it's fine.  I think it's important to understand that atheists are people of faith, after all they "believe" God doesn't exist.  What is hard to stomach is the invincible ignorance of someone who claims to "know" God doesn't exist.  I've never heard an intelligent atheist say that they can prove it.

I think what he doesn't say is much more revealing than what he does say.  Jim is a smart guy.  He knows what the outcome of this insanity will ultimately mean.  Economic collapse, followed by hyperinflation to try to escape collapse, followed by total collapse and anarchy.  But in his position you can't say that.
