The Fed is not a governmental body.  It is privately owned.  It's job is to turn your money into their money.  Most people believe it is a governmental agency.  That is simply not so.  It is, as Greenspan said, "accountable to no one."

Ok, why do some women seem to "love" men who beat them or who cheat on them?   Is that "being real" or is it a sign of "confidence"?  No, I think it is simply insanity.   Not all, but some women are simply not right.  Enough to skew the statistics.   Plenty of men are crazy too; just in different ways.

As I learned long ago, good news for the stock market is bad news for the working man; and vice versa.  The market is all about how much money big business rakes in and keeps.  The lower what Greenspan called "wage inflation", the better for the market.  Now that we have wage deflation, the market is buoyant.
