Interesting that the writer starts all his statistics in 2001 regarding the employment and wealth deteriorating rather than 2006 when Pelosi/Reid took over Congress.  This writer can't give it up.

Agree with both comments, but it is only TOO expensive if we legalize it to death, to protect your right to have me support your drug habits.  Companies test routinely and if the courts would treat the test as part of a voluntary transaction we could keep it cheap and effective.  And like I said a win for everyone.

Let's try drug testing for anyone wanting government checks.  Maybe tough but the drug use rate AND the number of welfare recipients would fall.  A win-win for everyone.

Next time you are in the grocery store try to count how many of the food stamp users are sporting Iphones.  There are few desperately poor people in this country today, but there are lots of people too lazy to care for themselves.

Margins at all the retailers are many times lower than the associated sales tax that the online people do not pay.  Landscape of American retail will change unless online sellers are required to pay same sales taxes as brick and mortar.
