WalMart's trick of moving things around so you'll spend more time in the store looking for what you want has driven me away. My time is worth a lot more than any discount I may or not be getting at WalMart.
I worry about chemical interactions. How much testing would it take to see what interactions there are between the chemicals in processed food and what's fed to cattle? Probably a lot.
You can use meat mostly for flavoring, and it won't cost you that much. You've no doubt seen how much meat is in a can of pork and beans. A little bacon goes a long way with fresh green beans, or spinach.
