Hmmmm, my response to this is that while this stinks, we're more focused on this petty stuff when people are killing each other every day, the environment is crap, there are people starving, and this merits to be newsworthy?  Ummm, yeah...the world is doomed.

First Applebee's fires a server because she rightfully embarassed a mean pastor for not providing a tip, and now a Wal-Mart manager fires a cashier for trying to help a lost puppy and provide it with temporary assistance.  WTH?  What is wrong with these people?
