I didn't like much about any of these designs, but when I got to slide 10 I just had to say something. Who in their right mind would put framed (and supposedly valuable) art ABOVE A STOVE! A stove which, by the way, has no fan or hood over it - which is required for safety reasons? This is beyond ridiculous. Someon...more
NO! A dress code is one thing but that is going too far. WHile not outright allergic, I am extremely sensitive to most makeup products and have yet to find a product that does not make my skin or eyes itch. I keep my face clean but reserve makeup only for special occasions.
Give me a break. We live in a Chicago suburb and have raised 4 kids on income that was never more than $140,000 in our best year, and usually more like $100,000. Our lifestyle was not lavish, but we had a nice home (3,000 sq ft) , the requisite 2 cars, our property tax was paid to escrow each month with the mortgage ...more

I don't pay ATM fees, don't buy premium gas, don't drink, don't have a gym membership, don't throw parties, catered or otherwise, & as for "saving" $200...more

I have followed several suggestions in this article successfully. First, my husband is a tax attorney and he hates letting the IRS have our money, so we pay every year - usually about $1,500. So I have a savings account that I put $50 a week in towards the tax bill. Since it gets pulled out once a year, the interest...more
My son has a checking account with B of A. He wanted to close it. They said no, you have to zero it out for 30 days before you can close it. Guess what - a pet insurance policy he thought he had cancelled put through unauthorized charges, causing his now zero balance account to be overdrawn. They put thru the charg...more

We were in Vancouver for ten days in August and enjoyed it very much. We took a day trip to Victoria just to see Butchart Gardens - this is a must!
FOR THOSE WHO FIND IT CHALLENGING TO DRIVE IN VANCOUVER - BRING YOUR OWN GPS FROM HOME! That's what I did and it was a total lifesaver. 99% of all GPS sold in US a...
