The school does have an obligation to employ teachers who instill confidence in parents and adhere to the schools moral expectations.  But here I think they clearly overreacted.  The woman was engaging in legimitate enterprise, not criminal or immoral (by general societal standards) conduct.   At most, her modelling ...more

Geez...now private retailers need to be politically correct?  Have you ever heard of "specialty stores?"  A&F markets to young people and they market to the average size-range of young people.  If that is their market, leave them to sell to it.  I'm sure they don't have a goal of being everything to everyone, nor do ma...more

Deanna Durbin, 'Lady on a Train' Actress...

Getting to 91 is pretty darned good.  Hopefully she was in reasonably good health until she passed away.  Interesting for a top star to leave the profession for good to have a more rewarding private life.  Clearly she had her priorities in order.   But historically - and even today - it is somewhat unusual for a perfor...more

Who hired that guy in the first place?  Even when he wasn't swearing he sounded drunk or totally incompetent.  Heck, I could do better than that without any training.

Celebrities are human, much to the surprise of some and delight to others.  Clearly Reese was in an altered state and probably wouldn't normally act the way she did.  I'm thinking there is a big difference here between her and LiLo and the like.   Still, she's dealing with it and apparently is really, really embarras...more

Shopper files suit over 'stealing' free...

If the judge doesn't throw out this suit, there's something terribly wrong with the US judicial system.  Plus, the grocery store's attorneys should counter sue for expenses related to this frivolous lawsuit.  This guy is an idiot and his lawyer is a bigger one.
