My "wind down and relax vice"? Playing with my 5 year old son. RIght now, it is Whack-A-Mole and Yahtzee Junior. I love it. He never asks to watch TV...he'd much rather spend time with me and I will keep it that way.   I dont need fake stimuli to relax me...I'll take the real thing.
