Yes, there is a way.  It might not happen quickly, but it likely will.  Things will get so cheap that they're not worth fixing, or machines will repair machines.  Cars already have computers to make the job easier.  It just goes on from there.

Family guy and other modern shows use more computers and less people in the animation/production ​ , distribution, etc. than any time in the past, and still people with debt will slap down their credit card to pay for cable, online viewing, or boxed sets for it.

Who says they're going to get money?  They're not guaranteed even the basics of life. They'll likely go poor, as you see happening now, poorer in some ways than their parents.  There are plenty of countries with double-digit unemployment, wealth disparity where billionaires live next to people who don't have clean wate...more
