Are bras unnecessary?

I already do  - at least when I'm not out on business.  A bra gives me a better shape, keeps the jiggle down and makes clothing fit better.  I'm already 64 and too heavy. I don't need extra bulge areas.    Also, if I'm exercising it saves black and blue injuries as I have too much bounce to the ounce.   However, as...more

I quickly paged through the comments and saw a lot of $500 a month premium comments... I'm self-employed.  My company paid for my insurance and my husband's as well as our 2 employees.  The employees and my husband have all gone on medicare, leaving me with a $799.31 monthly bill for health insurance in an HMO that is ...more

Medicare was forced on the working public back in the mid-1960's along with the beginnings of government oversite on pension plans and other privatized health care.  The cost of health care started to spiral across the board with government intervention.  It's too late for most of the population to change gears.  Even ...more

Social Security was never designed to do more than to save $$$ for people when they retire.  Beginning and ending of entire program.  If the payments to orphaned children and disability were discontinued there wouldn't be a problem.  These two parts of the program belong elsewhere. The government REQUIRED working taxpa...more

I use bags a lot at the moment, but have been known to wrap - Gift shirts wrapped like a folded up shirt.  A game wrapped like a folded up shirt just to confuse the issue. Tie boxes wrapped to look like a tie whether or not there is a tie inside.  It's fun and artful, specially if boxes are put on display for an occasi...more

Obese mannequin creates a stir

I like the idea of large size models, truly large size models.  What they forgot was the droop.  There are a variety of body styles: long torso, short legs; long legs, short torso, big belly, skinny legs, droopy booty, large arms, small arms.  The model pictured is big almost all over and soft appearing in the middle, ...more

What's the matter with Wal-Mart?

Replies 1-3 just about said it all.  I shop there right now a lot.  I price match the groceries.  I still save but usually about half my grocery list cannot be price matched as they have taken things off the shelf or changed price from lb to ea or some other strategy to keep items from being eligible for price matching...more
