McDonald's CEO: Relax, Ronald's not bad

Yep...most of the time when you see obese parents, you see obese children.  Only a very tiny minority of people actually have a medical condition that causes obesity despite what they may eat that could have been passed on to their children too.  The kids aren't driving themselves to McD's or any other fast food restau...more

McDonald's CEO: Relax, Ronald's not bad

Just like anything, everything in moderation.  You can eat fast food and still be healthy...you just can't eat it ALL THE TIME.   Eating at McDonalds should be a treat for kids...and it used to be for most...hence the image of a clown that reflects "fun."  The problem is NOT with Ronald but with the parents.  The kids ...more

Hate Netflix? You're not alone

I would love Netflix streaming if they actually had many movies I wanted to see.  They hardly have any of the biggest name new releases and their selection in everything else is abysmal.  Even a lot of classic movies from 30 years or more ago they don't have.  I honestly have a hard time finding anything on it I want t...more

They are nice to have in an emergency or even if you're at the store and have a question for a spouse or something.  That's the only reason I got one was because I travel out of town at least once a month.  It's worth it if you're paying more than $50 for a landline when you can get a prepaid mobile phone with unlimite...more

Scrap the smart phones.  If all they need them for is talking and texts, you can get reasonably priced basic prepaid phones that just do that for under $50 and monthly plans with unlimited text, data, and adequate minutes (like around 1500) for about $40 a month.  I have Virgin Mobile and have never had a complaint abo...more

God no, stay AWAY from Tracphone....worst customer service EVER...it is the customer service from HELL.  It works great until something goes wrong or your minutes you bought don't show up and then you are in purgatory for literally weeks and still don't get anything fixed.  Go with Virgin Mobile which is what I have or...more

People don't need all the bells and whistles.  A $30 prepaid mobile phone will do all you really need with a $30-$40 monthly charge which usually includes unlimited texts and plenty of minutes.   You don't need these toys people.  Don't know why anyone would want to watch a show or movie or any of those things on a tin...more
