I have been filing an electronic tax return since 2001. After transmitting my return I receive word that "IRS has accepted my tax return". Prior to electronic filing, I always mailed my return "Return recipe requested". Perhaps if one wishes acknowledgement they should take the necessary action for such.

stsw.....Thanks for your comment. After a little research it appears I may have confused Medicare and Medicaid.  I did find where in certain cases a dependent disable child my receive Medicare.

One subject not covered is once people qualify for disability, they and their family will qualify for Medicare. This is another reason for the increased Medicare payout.

Why is Obama cutting SS? Because as a group they cast more votes for the other party. Now Obama sees it as payback time.

The employee does not pay into unemployment. The unemployment tax is only paid by the employer.

The one thing I have noticed about job seekers is the lack of wiliness to relocate. I have actually assisted young people in receiving job offers who turned the offer down because they did not wish to live in a particular area of the country.

"My belief is if you pay your employees good salaries, then those employees will work harder for their company. When that happens, most companies will prosper"   In 2007 Chrysler, Ford and GM paid employees good salaries and those union guys did work harder, demanding more and driving the companies into the ground.
