I find it amusing that all the social changes they fought for are slowly unraveling before their eyes bit by bit and it seems to be by their own hand due to political infighting by their own generation. Can we say irony?
While a lot of what you said, was said out of anger I do find the irony in the fact that boomers, who basically are the ones currently in power in the white house and responsible for Obamacare, are going to end up the Guinna pig of Obamacare retirement.

I think the problem is, people are starting to find out the well paying jobs tend to be jobs people don't want to do. That's why they pay well. A&F chooses to sell that style clothing, it's not like that is the ONLY store out there to shop at. Vote with your wallet...it's more effective, cheaper, and alot less hastle than smear campaigns.

You're right. By your numbers the cost of education has inflated 330% while the income has only inflated 156%. That cuts the 'value' of a degree by about 52%. In other words a college education today is worth less than half of what it was worth in 1991.
Yes, they had high hopes for their future, but then they mortgaged it for the here and now through the use of credit cards and other types of loans. Now that those loans are coming due and the reality of their future is sinking in it's a no brainer why the suicide rate is up.
Funny...they install that thing in my house it just may end up broken, again and again and again and again.........they may want to get insurance for their insurance gadget.
