I do understand your point, but the bottom line is that the government just assumes that if your parents have money, you are getting your school paid for and don't need aid. Absolutely right on! My experience was the same! My husband and I just attended his 10 year class reunion and those entitlement-minded, spoiled, drunken, wasteful and lazy students are just now entitlement-minded, spoiled, drunken, wasteful, and lazy almost 30 year-olds!
