I guess since I got a Pell Grant for my recent college education, that can be a "freebie" for being on the lower end of middle income.  That is the ONLY perk or hand out we've gotten!!!!!  We don't get tax breaks, we don't get food stamps or welfare checks. We drive very old cars that my husband is talented enough to k...more

My husband and I fit 4 of them.  I thought we were middle class but according to this we're not that fortunate.  Not having a Target close by I shop at Wal-Mart. He has a secure job but I don't.  We have no health insurance because the premium is too high and the deductible is ridiculously high.  We are strong Republic...more
