I worked mowing lawns, etc. Maybe you all should get out of the mind set that you have to have a traditional job to pay for school? I also painted wine glasses and sold them at flea markets. How is this naive? It is what I did. I don't believe in any debt.

They made the choice to take out the student loans, did they not?

I know this is a strange concept, but don't take out student loans. Work your way through a public University you can afford. Or, get a job that will pay for your tuition. There are other options. Debt is like a cancer that will eat away at your finances. If we all choose not to do debt, the price of tuition would drop...more

I also fly every single week, and never have the problems you are all talking about. I absolutely love to fly. There is nothing like taking off, looking down, and seeing that gorgeous view. I also fly standby.
