found my bathroom flooded the same way, but it was the hot water and all of it ran down the laundry chute into the basement. So the bathroom & basement were flooded. We can laugh now....
I think growing up on a farm (like I did) helps because there are different kinds on animal deaths (sickness, for food, old age, etc). From a young age you accept it.
Now that I live in town and my 10-year old daughter has not experienced death I am not to sure how to explain when we have to put down our elderly dog. ...more
My daughter used washable markers on my husbands bald head while he was sleeping. He ended up with a garden landscape on his head. Kept her busy for a an hour.
It happened to me and my husband also. Neither one of us wanted to be on this blind date but we had to go with this other couple. But he thought it would be interesting to date me again & it worked and we haven't been apart since in 21 years.
We jsut laugh about it.
I had to throw away a 6oz bottle of BBQ glaze because I forgot about it and packed it in my suitcase but they can't find a cat?!?!
Also I would notice if I packed my cat. He would be screaming and clawing his way out before I got out the door.
By reading these comments brings me back to my childhood living in the country. But now I have kids & live in town & live in this society, it;s different.
