It amazes me how many colleges/universities try to hang onto the concept that a liberal arts degree provides the best education. This might work in an elitist society where people do not have to work and produce. However, as many are finding out, it doesn't pay the bills...
I think Cramer is right that we will go over the "cliff". Then, the automatic increase will go into place, and repulicans can technically agree on a "tax cut", even if it is higher than today. They don't want to be seen as voting for an increase, so they are waiting for the automatic increase.
After Jan 1, with the automatic reversal of the tax cuts, taxes will be much higher if nothing is agreed on. Then, it technically will be a tax cut, even though it will be higher than today.
In the past, only the "good companies" provided health insurance. Those that didn't provide it had a cost advantage.
