Bluetick.... take a few moments, of YOUR time, and look Habitat for Humanity on YOUR computer.
ALL your questions can be answered with just a FEW clicks. Go ahead now, give it shot, I know you can do it.
You are a teaparty'er I take it.
You are wrong on so many points... but let's stick with the news story at hand.
1) This story has nothing to do with Welfare, OF ANY KIND.
2) This story has nothing to do with ANY POLITICAL PARTY.
3) This story has to do with tornados hitting a community where many homes ...more
An F4 or F5 tornado treats a brick house like it's a tinker toy. You evidently don't live in an area where tornados are a normal weather phenomena. While there are newer techniques for the roofs, sure does a lot of good when the entire roof can be ripped off in one piece and tossed even hundreds of yards away.
Living in Oklahoma, I know about tornados and the damage they can do. My heart goes out to that entire community.
For those of you who think you can build a house to withstand an F4 or F5 tornado, the joke is on you. Evidently you've never seen how an F4 or F5 can rip anything out of or off the ground, no matter h...more
You know nothing of what you speak. 1) Habitat for Humanity is a CHARITY, NOT the government. So don't worry about YOUR taxes paying for them. 2) Those living in the homes in that area are NOT illegal immigrants, they are white people.
What IS SAD is that you chose a horrible event caused by Mother Nature to expres...more

A typical $3,500 chemo shot (cost manufacturer charges hospital) is billed to the patient at over $13,000.
THAT'S the problem, NOT that everyone wants everything free.
It's not even the drug companies... it's the hospitals.
Those drugs your hospital is giving you that cost you over $65,000 a year, most likely only cost the hospital about $10,000 AT MOST.
A typical chemo shot costs hospitals about $3,500 BUT they bill the patient over $13,000 for it.

WOW $300 a month for healthcare insurance with your employer paying NONE of your insurance premium? you evidently have the cheapest insurance possible ! No wonder they aren't paying. OR, you are just full of it.
For my husband and I, no children, and we paid the entire premium because none was offered by either o...more
You're right, sort of. The reason for the high cost of healthcare is because hospitals are allowed to charge whatever they want for a service or treatment, even up to 10,000 times as much. For example, one chemo treatment which costs the hospital $3500, is billed to the patient at $13,000.
Now where Congress is at...more
