You do know about Fidelity and Vanguard, don't you?  And you have heard what Suze Orman says, "No one is going to look after your money better than you"?  Also, you know that no investment is "secure", right?  That's it's a risk/reward scenario?

Yes but the problem is the 47% who are on the dole did vote for him.  How is it fair that the 47% receiving means-based entitlements have the same right to vote as the tax payers?  That's how we got into this mess.  Voting laws need to be changed.
