Is there a type of health insurance that covers everything? Not really anymore. Benefits have been eroding for several years, as premiums have risen and copays/coinsurance has been increasing. I think the $250,000 figure was chosen in order to include a lot of the smaller small businesses that are taxed as individuals. I agree we should be there for family in need, but only to a certain point. When family members are irresponsible, live beyond their means and then get in trouble for it, that doesn't qualify them for the family umbrella policy. Seriously? I commend the judge for not giving this frivolous lawsuit the time of day, and for letting the delusional woman know exactly why. Who do you think pays when someone sues the city, state, etc? The government? And who pays when the goverment pays? Taxpayers. Us. Average working people. Make the connection.
