Currently chemotherapy drugs are paid at a 6% margin over actual cost...  That now becomes a 4% margin.  Lets say that a dose of Avastin costs around $2500.  Provider clears $100.  But let's not forget it takes trained pharmacists and pharmacy techs a half hour to mix it.  Expensive IV tubing to administer it, etc...  ...more
