I "ran the numbers." If I delay SS income from age 66, the current age of "full retirement," to age 70, I'll be 92 before there is a benefit to waiting. For me, it's not worth the wait.

The concept works, and it isn't new. A coworker had a camper similar to this mounted on an AMC Gremlin around 1975. I imagine he had to beef up his springs and shocks to keep it stable.
