Yes, who cares what a car is worth, if it's what you want? I bought my 1960 Austin Healey 3000 (used) in 1966 for $1,645, and last week turned down an offer to buy it for $60,000. I'll keep it, thank you! It's more fun to drive and uses less gas than most of the vehicles available today.
The problem is that too many people rely upon the government to control their lives, and to tell them what they want. This should be a moral decision, not a government edict.
