I admit it - I watch some of the wedding shows. While most of the brides still buy white dresses, there are a number of brides that buy a gown in color. They seem to go for peach, champagne, and even red. One bride picked a black gown. Then there was a bride who wore a colored gown and had her bridesmaids wear white.

I think part of the fear that some straight men have with commenting about another man's looks has to do with "societal norms". It is perfectlly okay for women to comment about another woman's looks without being called lesbian (most of the time).
