I love floor to ceiling windows in a home, but just not a home with open windows in every inch of the home. There is absolutely no privacy and where are the fabulous views? Besides that, with the exception of the mid century modern home in Arizona and the one in Santa Monica, they look somewhat sterile.

The floating staircase is a great artistic conversation starter, but there is no way I would have those as a main staircase. As artistic as they are, they're also dangerous.
