I know a working guy, family man, who lost both legs in an accidend and social security said he was NOT disabled.  He hopes one day they will change their mind. So just who is it that says social security needs to be tougher on regular folks??

Buy and  hold!  OOPS!  CRASH!  Your kids don't go to College (but theirs do)   Massive bank fraud destroys misddle class wealth OOPS! CRASH! There goes your retirement  (but they get BONUSES)    Do I detect a pattern here?

So why are we turning corn into ethanol for cars (instead of turning it into food-especially BACON)  when we have the biggest natural gas bonanza EVER?  Seriously, a bacon shortage AND $4 gasoline?  Why does supply and demand never seem to work for the consumer?

Of course people like it.  Most of it is a pleasant diversion from work (like this post) and people LOVE  stuff that is diverting (jerry Springer) but useless and even things that are pleasurable (but badfor us ) like ciggarettes.
