If you read the story, you will see the 2 men actually had medical insurance.  After the hospital bled their insurance dry of 100K, then they washed their hands of them.  Basically they were kidnapped, put on a plane without their permission and dropped off in a foreign country unconsious.  Wow, that is classy.
