This was a "loan' offered by the gov. to Ford along with many other mfg's for green technology development.   Not like GM/Chrysler who needed a 'bailout" to keep their doors open!

Please remember Chrysler is owned by Fiat (Italy) and still owes the taxpayers approx. $1.3B, plus original Tarp Loan that was forgiven.....approx. $3.1B.  How about giving FORD an equal amount of what Chrysler did not payback to the taxpayers just to make the playing field even?

Just curious, those of you that believe  Obamarutpcy was a success and in an effort to not disadvantage FORD.  How about awarding Ford an equal amount of the $billions estimated that the taxpayers will not get back from the GM/Chrysler bailout..
