Only 62 out of a thousand voters for Obama in Philly were living people. So what is your point m239658? Kidding aside, secession of Montana, N.Dakota, Alaska, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Louisiana, and Alabama, would make the largest nuclear power with food and resources in the world, if they join the Republic of Tex...more
Really didn't enjoy being called an idiot. Where TF do you work that people who put that on their card get upset? I would find a new job. Oh Yeah, maybe you are really an unemployed, who gets pissed off when the merchant asks for ID for the card you stole.
BTW, I, too am unemployed.
I have signed my card "See Photo ID" in the signature block for several years. It is a kind of check on the merchant. Yes, it is inconvenient to pull out my photo ID for the 15% who request it. I make it a point to visit those places that do it. I also think about the fact that I have no less than six photo ID's. ...more
46 years making a living in the "cockpit", flight deck, box office, and "first class". Disagreement over takeoff data, that cannot be resolved prior to a fully loaded takeoff on hot runway in a crowded ATC environment, means "Stop the flight until one of you learns the correct performance entry." I agree that someone...more

Is it because his "boss" thinks if we send all the American jobs overseas, as GE is supporting, we can spread the wealth? How can anyone disagree that greed and corruption (read Unions, SOME Corporations, and Welfare Cheat...more

Loved the car, but decided that Minot, North Dakota wouldn't be a place for my convertible. I was told the OHC engine was far too expensive to manufacture, to remain in the GM st...more
I, too, have never heard of a single one of the choices. Now if you want to talk Terry's Turf Club (which appeared on the food channel), I certainly don't recommend people flock to Cincinnati, just for the best burger. On the other hand if you want to go on 93 North out of Whitefish, Montana to the Point of Rocks to ...more
I am not wealthy, but the luckiest person you could ever meet. I have been fortunate to pursue a career I never even thought about as a kid. It has taken me to every continent (yes, even Antarctica). No poor person has ever given me a job, only the wealthy. Many poor have given me both hope and an understanding of ...more
Richard in TN and Dad in sales: I'll start by saying I was in the Theater Managers position in 1965 and couldn't believe how much we had to pay to show a first run Movie. The Obscene profit margin required on the Popcorn and Soft Drinks to keep the doors open bothered me then. In Pittsburgh (actually 84 PA) there was...more
