There are only three props on these turbines and the space between can vary depending on their size, my guess is there may be a large span of openness in their rotation and what seems to be open air to the bird has suddenly closed, wind speed also has an effect on the frequency of these blade passes.
I have neighbors across the street, one example, they are a family of seven including obese members.
