@Misty, my grandma hoarded linens. Even with spliting up towels and sheets everyone got a huge pile. I don't think I will have to buy another towel as long as I live, if I do I will definately check out thirft stores and garage sales, because I am cheap.
frayed towels need to be replaced? Maybe in the guest bathroom, however I have been using hand me down towels that are over thirty years old. Eventually they will become dog towels or cleaning rags.
