Once again, they did not research this article very well.  Robins Island is in the Peconic Bay, not the Long Island Sound.  I know this as I grew up looking at it eveyday of my youth as I lived right across from it and my uncle was the caretaker on the island prior to Mr. Bacon's purchase of the island.
