Apple announces the iPhone 4S

I don't quite get why folks are complaining.  Apple never said ANYTHING about an iphone5, the media did.  Apple will do what they always do -- build phones that are solid, practical and maximize battery life without sacrificing too much performance.  Face it, phone battery technology has not caught up with TRUE 4G tech...more

As economy wanes, case for stimulus grow...

Anthony - I have to respectfully disagree with your point of view on this one.  We have went the stimulus route on previous occasions and all it did was prolong the inevitable, which is a double dip recession.  You cannot spend your way out of this mess, it will do nothing but harm the value of the U.S. Dollar, lowe...more

Will I really need 20% down for a home?

20% was once required in the U.S.  Once we got away from this and had all these sidearm loans being offered to U.S. consumers, many folks who could not truly afford a house still received loans.  This practice led to gross inflation of house prices.  As such, if we went back to requiring 20% down, the housing market wi...more

The term for it is actually a double dip recession.  The so called QE2 stimulus ended in June.  There was a decent rally and as soon as there was a good reason for a sell-off, it happened.  There is no secret here.  The lesson that needs to be learned is that we need to let the market bleed out and recover on it's own....more

What's ahead for the stock market

This article said it.. S&P stated originally back in April that they would reduce the rating if we did not find cuts in the amount of $4 trillion over the next 10 years.  Guess what.. the dummies in Washington didn't even bother to bat an eye until the last minute and still came up with a bad deal that thumbed their no...more

America gets downgraded

The S&P down graded our rating and all Mr Boehner and the TEA said, " we got 98% of what we wanted, and we are so glad". Really???  The Tea Party said they got 98% of what they wanted, yet no single member of Congress that ran on the Tea Party ideologues even voted in favor of this laughable bill.  Please get your fact...more

America gets downgraded

No single party is to blame.  It is all of the politicians in Washington that have their heads so far up their arses that they can see what they ate for dinner last night.  I will not be voting for a single incumbent in the 2012 election, period.  I am sick of these bozos.  Time to vote them out and send a clear messag...more
