While I am not advocating rude and lude gesters, let's face it -- all of us have seen someone (or have done it themselves) flip the bird.  Let's not act to innocent and pious.  In this day and age, the children of America are NOT so innocent -- get a reality check.

My guess is when they hired the fourth judge Kara D., they were transitioning Abdul out.  I think this has been in the works for a long time .  The producer probably low balled Abdul so she wouldn't return -- making them look like not such bad guys.  Kind of like when your boy or girl friend does such bad things so YOU...more

One of the main reasons American Idol is such a success is BECAUSE OF Simon.  The other personalities are nice but a bit boring.
