@momwithboys: NO. Mom should have removed junior from the theater, not have a conversation about "not talking at the movies" while in the theater, which would be just as disruptive. The guy is a hero. $15 for a movie, only to have fellow patrons who don't have decency and common sense to leave junior at home, turn off their cell phones, and act like civilized human beings. And if it were my child making the noise, you would have permission to slap ME, too.
Who cares? The second that all cars become more fuel-efficient and start getting 50+ miles per gallon, the cost of gasoline/diesel will skyrocket to $6 or $7 per gallon. Big oil and the government will get their money regardless. Then we'll be JUST like Europe, as most people here envy.

As a NYer, I wish they had rebuilt the towers just a bit taller than they were. I'm not a fan at all of WTC1, although WTC3 (the one with the diamond angled roof and is on hold) is beautiful.
