Those are all very fair and well thought out points... but I still see an opportunity for some chain to come in with a very inexpensive menu. What they lose in margin, they will make up for in volume and customer loyalty.
See my prior comment... McD's pays less than 7 cents for their largest fountain soda and are trying to make the public feel they are doing us a favor by selling it to us for a buck. It's a joke.
I agree. How hard would it be to offer rice, chicken/etc... for a few bucks. Unfortunately, all the many teriaki restaraunts out there see their competitors getting twice that, so they price accordingly. It won't change until we stop paying it.
