There are certain areas that cannot be owned by foreigners, but look at many of the hotels in the Tourists areas.....owned by foreign companies. You obviously have never traveled farther than the nearest Waffle House. Mexico is a beautiful country. Yes it has it's problems, but if the U.S. didn't have a drug problem, Mexico would have a Cartel problem.
