Aston Martin DB5 was ridiculously small as were a lot of other European "sports" cars.  James Bond looked silly in he various undersized cars in the early movies.  Those cars were disproportional to their drivers.  Now, small cars have a better design and don't make the occupants look like elephants in a phone booth.
