Olive Garden is tearing down its Tuscan...

Try just having an entree and no dessert if you want to keep the bill down in cost.  Don't spend $4 per person and up on dessert and then complain about the bill. You can have your own ice cream at home.   Appetizers and desserts are where these chain restaurants make their profits.

I guess having a few things in pots doesn't constitute "finished".   I suppose that someone with just overgrown weeds as their "lawn" would pass the test just fine though.

Edward Conard says what Mitt Romney won'...

Why is it that  no one ever questions why a baseball player can get paid $20 million a year? Or how about the Hollywood crowd and what they get paid for movies?  What socially redeeming productive activity is performed by a movie star acting in a film? Or by someone paid  $1 million or more a week on a TV show? It's al...more

Why a shrinking government is bad news

The idea that you should not cut government jobs because it will "harm" the economy is just idiocy. You cannot have a successful economy in the long-term that is based largely upon permanent government employment.  Someone else has to be taxed to pay the salaries of all these government workers, or else the money has t...more

Lowe's Stands Firm on 'All-American Musl...

According to the protesters, if you initially advertise and then pull the ads, that's not all right, but if you never advertised there in the first place they have nothing to say about that, because if they did they would show the reverse bigots they really are.   Political correctness run amuck yet again.  Is this typ...more
