I was on my way to work here in central Wisconsin about a month ago.  I work 2nd shift, so it was about 5:00 p.m. and dusk-dark.  A bobcat crossed the road in front of me, and stopped on the shoulder to turn and keep an eye on me as I stopped the car to look at him.  He was very confident and unafraid, and I was kickin...more

dasco's an idiot.  Fey, you're right, and I think that's a wonderful idea.  Bobcats can be very successfully raised to be gentle, I know of two here in Wisconsin that have been with families for a decade.  Chips would make a wonderful wildlife ambassador.
