Futuristic Ford Fiesta sports in-wheel e...

Very simple answer - Americans LOVE horsepower.   I have a 2013 Ford Escape which comes with a 240 HP, 270 lb-ft turbocharged 4 cylinder gasoline engine.   That very same vehicle is produced by Ford Europe as the Kuga (gen 2) and maxes out at 177 HP with 176 lb-ft of torque for their most powerful gasoline en...more

I have bought three Fords, all three of them made in the USA by american workers.  The first one was a Ranger made in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the second was a F-150 made in Dearborn, Michigan, and the third was an Escape made in Louisville, Kentucky

My Ranger got 16.5 MPG on the interstate (2003 FX4 - 4WD, LSD, and 4.1 rear end) and my F-150 gets 21 (2011 4x4 Offroad - 4WD, ELD, and 3.73 rear end) at 65 MPH

I think that depends on the state - some Google searching reveals some states require police to use lights when violating any traffic law, some states don't depending on circumstance.   I remember a deadly accident a few years ago in Lexington, Kentucky - a police officer was driving between 70 and 80 MPH in a 45 MPH...more

It won't let me post a link - just go to pilotflyingj's website (Which should be obvious) then add a /pump-def to the end of the URL.

I forgot to add - You can find a list of Pilot / Flying J truck stops with bulk DEF (Urea) dispensers here:

Don't pay dealer prices for Urea - It's $2.799 / gallon at Pilot / Flying J truck stops (At the diesel fuel island) - and it meets the same quality standards as the urea you can buy at any dealer since it's intended for on-highway emissions controls.

EPA investigating Ford hybrids for milea...

My F-150 Ecoboost also gets NOTHING like what Ford says it should - I mean not even close.  Maybe downhill with a tailwind it might hit the advertised 21 MPG highway number.  If you set the cruise at 70 (the speed limit) and just let it do its thing it gets about 17.5 MPG.
