I’ve noticed this interesting phenomenon during earnings season too. The emotional sell mentality during an earnings whiff, at times, does seems very shortsighted.
I'm young and I've always been told "save for retirement". I guess I feel fortunate that I have taken the advice and built up a nest egg by 30, but at the same time I have to wonder if retirement (as it has been sold to us all) is just a myth.
