there are 2 kind of medicated acne face wash one with salicylic acid (2%) and one with glycolic acid (10% or 5%) the 10% glycolic gives me a severa sunburn looking rash, but the 5% does nothing for my skin. Also I've tried the stuff you buy at the grocery store (Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, etc) and they do nothing eithe...more
I had terrible acne when I lived in Miami. I tried doctor dermatologic formula (ddf) sold at sephora and my skin cleared up in weeks. The bottle is about 30.00 but it last a long time. I wear very little make up (2% salicylic acid powder, eye shadow & lipgloss). Now I'm fighting my dark spots and I can't seem to find a...more
it's "you're" not "your".
Is it too hard to write correctly? I'm the minority. Hispanic, educated, never been on welfare. I've learned English in school in South America. I try really hard to double check my spelling. Once you make a mistake you are not taken seriously, no matter how strong your point is. I don't me...more

I love hunting for vintage stuff. Years ago I scored a The Cure t shirt for like 25c. I wore that thing until it fell apart. I've found a 1950 teapot in mint condition, again I paid less than a dollar for it. I also check stores for halloween costume ideas (last year I needed a jackie-o dress and fake pearls for The Bi...more
I've also noticed the use of "be more happy" I was taught in school that it shoould be "be happier" but then again, I'm not a native so I could be missing a lesson.
I'm from South America and I had English in school all the way from K through HS. We get a lot of movies, music and TV shows from North America so pretty much all schools teach at least one language, which is mainly English (along with French and German). I moved to the States in 1998 and I'd say I'm still trying to im...more
