As a former teacher, I quit teaching because of the lack of administration and district support. I loved to see students learn and had the best class in the school, and my students would come to schoo...more

Most definitely. If she is doing a job that others are doing and it IS not illegal, immoral, or unethical then why should she be fired. Teaches make less money that most think or would work for. Given an average work week of 55-65 hours and making less than $10 per hour after taxes....it is no wonder she needed another...more

I wonder what would have happened in Russia if they would have done this there? There is a reason why America is still the best place to live on earth. Sooner or later, the younger brother will be caught and he will know what it feels like to betray American trust. Either in prison or before the courts, he will get his...more

One little bit of trivia.....how many students can be taught when they are gone f...more

Let's hold them to the same standard as teachers.....Every American has a job or they are rated as unsuccessful and unemployed (No American Left U...more

5 states to increase class time in some...

Food for thought. I was a teacher, made 50k a year, worked 60-65 hours a week. I finally quit because there were no resources, no parental support, and I was blamed for every student who did not accept personal responsibility for their learning even though I did a before and after school program, provided on-line class...more

The unhappiest jobs in America - careers

Considering teaching? Don't unless you can give back 5 to 10 percent of your income for supplies, food, and clothing; work 55-60 hours a week; eat in 15 minute lunches, and get blamed for every everthing wrong in the American society. The kids are great, but administrators have no clue as to how to manage adults. Most ...more
