I am 45yo and I LOVE Elmo!   I know that there are many stupid ones out there, but I never doubted Kevin Clash.   He is the body & voice & heart & soul of Elmo and he does Elmo and take care of Sesame Street with so much love & dedication that he would never jeopardize that.   That simple.
