One person isn't responsible for the ratings. Anyone who could positively affect the ratings would probably be a threat to the other hosts who are good at undermining things they don't like.    The atmosphere on the show is terse and strained to the point that that the only segments that I watch are music related.

Can't he just bankrupt out of the fines?  This is excessive and shows the music industry is desparate. They won't cause anyone to buy more music if they are being a d i c k about their product.    Who's going after China?  They don't have the b a l l z to take them on.

It's fun to rebel until you have to start paying bills.  If you want a house, car, vacations, and a good life, you don't marry a "bad" boy.    Maybe good for a few dates when you have to play out some teenage rebellion, but for the long run, bad boys and tattoos are a just a disposable toy.
