Do we know why we have trouble with SS?  Without knowing the cause we can't propose the solution.

Daylight waste time is a better name.  The consumption of AC is significantly more than lights.  In the cool morning people shouold stay home.  In the hot afternoon people should stay in office to save energy.

It is always boil down to the basic question: where is the money for a great idea.  Obama, having no interest in economy, just don't care the basic question.  He just want to do good.

I came to US from China 20 some years ago.  Since then, the US is moving toward China; and China is moving toward the US.  I think we are at the point or close to the point that the US is more communism than China.  Unfortunately, I am too old to move back to China.

My suggestion is always take the SS ASAP.  1st, you don't know how long can you live.  For people w/o hobby retirement living can be very short.  2nd, the money can earn you money.  When the earned money is considered taking SS at 70 is not that a good idea.
