I agree with the charge for oversize carryons.  But there is a size and quantity policy now and the staff are usually too busy or disinterested to follow it.  So I vote for charging for oversize carryons and reverting to free checked bags

i don't know where you have been hiding but diesel, far from costing less because its a by-product of  gasoline refining, is now nearly 25% higher.  I just returned from Mexico where the traditional cost of diesel being 10% less than gasoline prevails.  What is wrong with the picture in this country?
