My dad did too!! Either that, or my poker face was terrible!!

I used to write notes to my parents saying I was running away, but then I'd just hide in my closet..... They would humor me for a little while, and then "Find" me.  Granted I was only about 6 or 7.

It may be tough for the first few Mothers Days, but it should become a day to celebrate the memory of her mother. Instead you agree that NO ONE should be able to celebrate their Mothers??

I'll celebrate that!!

How about let kids celebrate Mothers & Fathers day, and teach them that not everyone has a mother or father present in their lives, and to not pick on those kids who may not. Teach tolerance, instead of taking away from those who have a reason to celebrate.
